- Added 1 Tier 1B Security & Removed 2 Tier 1B Securities:
- +1 = New CRB ("Unified Global Corp.")
- -1 = Removed CRB from Database & Added to Watchlist (“International Land Alliance Inc.”)
- Rationale for Removal = On December 14, 2021, International Land Alliance, Inc., an international land investment and development firm, executed a rescission agreement with a private grower of hemp, which terminated any and all of its interest, directly or indirectly, in the lease of a small portion of its land in Southern California for the growing of hemp. The Company, who is a developer of land for resorts and commercial buildings, will begin subdividing the property for the construction of residential homes. The Company was never in the hemp business and acted strictly as a Lessor. On December 28, 2021, ILA issued a press release announcing the termination and rescission of its lease agreement for the growing of hemp. This was the company's only connection to the cannabis industry. As a result, International Land Alliance Inc. no longer qualifies for inclusion. Therefore, discarding this business record and adding it to the watchlist.
- -1 = CRB Tier Changed to Tier 3 (“GB Sciences, Inc.”)
- +1 = New CRB ("Unified Global Corp.")
- Added 1 Tier 3 Security:
- +1 = CRB Tier Changed from Tier 1B (“GB Sciences, Inc.”)
- Rationale for Tier Change = GB Sciences, Inc. closed the sale of its last remaining cannabis facility, completing a transition to the biopharmaceutical industry. Per its own admission, "We have emerged from this sale as a pure-play biopharmaceutical research and development company...Management's decision to end all connections to the cannabis cultivation industry positions GB Sciences to uplist its stock to a senior exchange and attract institutional investors and strategic partners in the biopharmaceutical drug development sector to accelerate its clinical development progress." GB Sciences still has a connection to the cannabis industry through its pharmaceutical research involving cannabinoids. However, this does not constitute a substantial revenue source for the company, relative to its overall operations. Therefore, downgrading GB Sciences, Inc. from Tier 1B to Tier 3.
- +1 = CRB Tier Changed from Tier 1B (“GB Sciences, Inc.”)
