During the week of August 12 - 18, 2024, CRB Monitor’s research team made several updates to securities’ information and added source documents & relevant news articles to the CRB Monitor database.

Summary of the updates for the Week of August 12 - 18, 2024:

Removed 4 Tier 2 Securities:

• -4 = Discarded Business Record: (“Ackrell SPAC Partners I Co.”) - 1 Issuer with 4 Issuances (1 Common, 1 Warrant & 2 Units)
  
  • Rationale = Ackrell SPAC Partners I Co. was a U.S.-based blank check company/SPAC which sought to complete a qualifying transaction. Ackrell planned to enter the cannabis industry with a focus on hemp-derived consumer goods, particularly beverages and wellness products. However, Ackrell failed to complete a qualifying transaction and was delisted from NASDAQ. As a result, the company is now private. This is a business without any connection to (1) a cannabis license/"plant-touching" operation, (2) a Tier 1 CRB, and/or (3) a publicly-traded CRB. Therefore, this business no longer qualifies for inclusion.

Removed 1 Tier 3 Security:

• -1 = Discarded Business Record: (“Ngen Technologies Holdings Corp.”)
  
  • Rationale = Ngen Technologies Holdings Corp. was a U.S.-based holding company which developed/marketed biomedical scanning systems and 3D mobile displays. Ngen previously entered into an agreement to acquire a private U.S.-based electronic cigarette and vaporizer company which also distributed cannabidiol (CBD) products. However, the company's security has been revoked/delisted and it no longer trades. As a result, the company is now private. This is a business without any connection to (1) a cannabis license/"plant-touching" operation, (2) a Tier 1 CRB, and/or (3) a publicly-traded CRB. Therefore, this business no longer qualifies for inclusion.
